THE SUN ALWAYS RISES

"No matter how many thunderstorms there are, the sun always shows up when it's over. Be patient ..." (unknown)

Nothing lasts forever.

Thunderstorms will end. Even the worst one.

And the sun always rise everyday. Even though sometimes we can't see it because dark clouds cover the sun. But it doesn't mean that the sun doesn't rise that day.

And the cloud, even the dark one, will swept away by the wind.

Thunderstorm will stop.

And the sun will appear in the sky triumphantly.

What requires from us is patience.

A little patience to wait till the sun rise again in the sky. Because the sun always rise.

Always.

Just don't give up.

NOTHING IS 100 PERCENT SURE

"If you wait to do everything until you’re sure it’s right, you’ll probably never do much of anything." (Win Borden

It is always an impossible thing to be sure for something before we do it.

There is always a chance that we will make a mistake because the choice is bad. But it doesn't become a reason to wait until we are 100 percent sure that what we will do is definetely right.

We will never sure to be 100 percent right. And we will do nothing because we are not sure for what we're gonna do.

Mistake is not the end of the world, if it is what we afraid of and the reason we wait to be sure.

80 percent sure is good enough to start what we're gonna do. Sometimes we have to start with only 30 percent sure.

But the only sure thing we have to have in our mind and heart is the confidence to begin.

THE PROOF AND THE BELIEF

"For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible." (Stuart Chase)

Belief is a state of mind.

When we choose not to believe in something or someone, even the strongest proof won't change anything.

State of mind will dictate the flow of our thinking.

When we choose not to believe, our own way of thinking will stop to accept anything that against our state of mind. It is like a door shutting down.

No proof or anything can open it.

It happens the same way when we choose to believe. We don't need any single proof or evidence to support what we believe. Because we have already believe it. But if any proof or evidence comes to mind that support the belief we have, it will strenghten the belief we have.

WE BELONG TO THE PRESENT

"I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then." (Lewis Carroll)

Many times we wanted to go back in times and to live in our yesterday.

We forget that when one day has passed and we enter a new day, we are different person from who and what we are yesterday.

Every of the days we live changes us. For better or worse. But each of the days we live changes us for sure.

When we think we can live our yesterday. We are dead wrong. Because we are now is not the same person with we were yesterday.

We can't live our past because we are different now. We belong to the present.

THE RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN FREEDOM

"A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom." (Bob Dylan)

Freedom always comes with responsibility.

Without responsibility, freedom will become chaos.

Responsibility is an invisible border that limits the freedom. Because in life, there is no total freedom or absolute freedom.

Man cannot handle absolute freedom. Because man is a limited being.

Responsibility in the freedom will create a control over the freedom the man exercise.

Lack the understanding about responsibility which embedded in the freedom will create a chaos and bring anarchy into existence.

The understanding of responsibility in the freedom will bring order in society and life.

THE INCONVENIENCE EXPERIENCE

"Change is not made without inconvenience." (Samuel Johnson)

Change is synonymous with inconvenience.

Change is moving from the place we know to another place we don't know.

Change is leaving the familiarity into the unfamiliarity.

Change is breaking our comfort zone and entering an unknown zone.

Change is not a convenience experience. Ninety nine percent of change is not something comfortable.

But change makes us mature. It builds our character. It mold us into a better person.

WALKING THE PATH

"There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path." (Morpheus)

Like heaven and earth, that is the difference between knowing and walking the path.

We meet two kinds of people in life, the one who knows about many things and the ones who walk the things they know.

It happens that someone tell us that they know to do certain things but they don't do it for themselves even though they need it.

A man with a big belly tells his friends that he knows how to flatten the belly. But he doesn't want to do it for himself. He knows the path but doesn't want to walk the path.

To know many good things is good. It makes us a knowledgeable person. But practicing the good things we know is everything.

Knowing good knowledges won't change us. Put it into practice will build us into a better person.

THE MISTAKES WE MADE

"Don't judge people by the mistakes they have made, but by what they have learned from them." (Unknown)

Everyone of us makes mistakes. Because we are human being, not God.

That's why to judge others by the mistakes they made will be unfair. But we are judged by whether we want to learned from the mistakes we made. Some of us learn a lot from the mistake we made and become wiser. But some don't and stay as a fool.

From our mistakes we reflect our lives and see our flaws. We improved by learning our mistakes, not stay in it.

It is not how many mistakes we made in our lives that counts, but how much we learn from it.

THE TINY SPARK

"Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of
possibility into flames of achievement." (Golda Meir)

We don't have to wait something big to start our journey to reach the
achievement.

What we should do is to find the tiny little possibility in and around
us. It is tiny until others will say, "c'mon just forget it."

And what we need is a conviction, a belief to see that the tiny
possibility we find is a seed which have a potential to grow and be
big.

It is a tiny spark of fire we should fanned with positive thought and
faith in order to supply enough oxygen. Critics and discouraging words
are water to put down the flame. We have to be able to choose between
the two.

In time, the tiny spark will turn into a big flame. Patience and
persistence are the fuel to make it big.

All of those returns to ourselves to believe something ordinary eyes cannot see.

And a good faith.

THE BRIGHT SIDE OF OUR ENEMIES

"Love your enemies, for they tell you your faults." (Benjamin Franklin)

Our enemies always want to destroy us by locating our weaknesses, our faults and launch an attack on it.

They are more diligent in trying to find our weaknesses and our faults. And they have a very keen eyes in doing it.

The weaknesses and the faults we have which we don't see it by our own eyes is clearly seen by our enemies.

In other words, they do their job to make us able to improve ourselves. And it is free. They do it without charging us any fee.

With this kind of perception, we should thank them for what they do for us. And deserve our love making us a better person.

That is the bright side of our enemies.
